We are pleased to announce our Gravesham candidate for the 2017 General Election is James Willis.   James, is an experienced councillor who is looking forward to serving the people of Gravesham and offer real change from the failed Conservative leadership the town has had.

James Willis said today,

"this is a chance for voters in Gravesham to change direction of the country. Voters in Gravesend should vote for the Liberal Democrats to change the direction of the country and ensure Britain has a decent opposition.

The Prime Minister has called a snap General Election to be held on the 8th June because she is weak and scared that her plan for hard brexit will fail.

This election is a huge opportunity for voters in Gravesham to change the direction of our country and ensure Britain has a decent opposition.

People in Gravesham may have voted to leave the EU, but many did not vote for the extreme form of Brexit that Theresa May has imposed on us after being backed by Labour.

For all those who want to protect our local economy by staying in the Single Market and ensure the people have the final say over what comes next, this is your chance.

The Liberal Democrats are the real opposition to the Conservative Brexit Government and the only party fighting for a Britain that is open, tolerant and united".
